The Indigenous Determinants of Health Alliance (IDHA)
IDHA is an Indigenous Peoples Organization (IPO), incorporated as a 501(c) (3), devoted to advocating for and fostering culturally safe systemic change globally through the adoption of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues’ Indigenous Determinants of Health (IDH) Framework.
“Indigenous Peoples approach health as an equilibrium of spirituality, traditional medicine, biodiversity and the interconnectedness of all that exists.” ~E/C.19/2023/5
The IDHA engages across every dimension of Indigenous Peoples’ lives, including health, policy, environment, biodiversity, climate change, trade, economy, culture, and traditional medicine.
